Peter Baynton Animation

Peter directed these four idents for the Discovery Channel, promoting the Volkswagen Caddy vehicle as the sponsor of Adventure on Discovery. They combine drawn character animation with live action, and the interaction between the two proved a fun challenge to make work. Each ident was also supplied as a 15sec version and 10sec version, so the animation required careful planning to ensure it would work seamlessly in both versions. Here are the 15 second versions of all four idents.
